TYPES OF DATA COLLECTED

 

Among the Personal Information collected by this Application, either independently or through third parties, there are: Cookies, Usage Data, email address, first name, last name, phone number and various types of Data.

Full details on each type of data collected are provided in the dedicated sections of this privacy policy or through specific information texts displayed before the data are collected.

Personal Data may be freely provided by the User or, in the case of Usage Data, collected automatically during the use of this Application.

All the Data required by this Application are mandatory and, in the absence of their provision, it may be impossible for this Application to provide the service. In cases where this Application indicates some Data as optional, Users are free to refrain from communicating such Data, without this having any consequence on the availability of the service or on its operation.

Method of treatment

The Data Controller processes the Personal Data of Users by adopting appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction of Personal Data.

Processing is carried out using IT and / or telematic tools, with organizational methods and with logic strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, the Data may have access to the Data subjects of the persons involved in the organization of the site (administrative, commercial, marketing, legal, system administrators) or external subjects (as suppliers of third party technical services, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) also appointed, if necessary, Data Processors by the Data Controller. Legal basis of processing

The Owner may process Personal Data relating to Users if one of the following applies:

  • Users have given their consent for one or more specific purposes. Note: Under some legislations the Owner may be allowed to process Personal Data until the User objects to such processing (“opt-out”), without having to rely on consent or any other of the following legal bases. This, however, does not apply, whenever the processing of Personal Data is subject to European data protection law;
  • provision of Data is necessary for the performance of an agreement with the User and/or for any pre-contractual obligations thereof;
  • processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the Owner is subject;
  • processing is related to a task that is carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Owner;
  • processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner or by a third party.

In any case, the Owner will gladly help to clarify the specific legal basis that applies to the processing, and in particular whether the provision of Personal Data is a statutory or contractual requirement, or a requirement necessary to enter into a contract.

Retention period

The data are processed and stored for the time required by the purposes for which they were collected.

Therefore:

  • Personal Data collected for purposes related to the execution of a contract between the Owner and the User will be retained until the execution of this contract is completed.
  • The Personal Data collected for purposes related to the legitimate interest of the Data Controller will be retained until this interest is satisfied. The User can obtain further information regarding the legitimate interest pursued by the Data Controller in the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Data Controller.
  • When the treatment is based on the User’s consent, the Data Controller can keep the Personal Data longer until such consent is revoked. In addition, the Data Controller may be obliged to keep Personal Data for a longer period in compliance with a legal obligation or by order of an authority.

At the end of the retention period, Personal Data will be deleted. Therefore, at the end of this term, the right of access, cancellation, rectification and the right to data portability can no longer be exercised.

 

Rights of the interested party

Users can exercise certain rights with reference to the data processed by the owner. The reference articles are on 15, 16, 17, 18, 20 of EU Regulation 2016/679.

In particular, the User has the right to:

  • withdraw consent at any time. The User can withdraw consent to the processing of their Personal Data previously expressed.
  • oppose the processing of their data. The user can object to the processing of their data when it takes place on a legal basis other than consent. Further details on the right to object are indicated in the section below.
  • access their data. The user has the right to obtain information on the data processed by the owner, on certain aspects of the processing and to receive a copy of the data processed.
  • verify and request correction. The User can verify the correctness of his Data and request its updating or correction.
  • obtain the limitation of the treatment. When certain conditions are met, the User can request the limitation of the processing of their Data. In this case the Data Controller will not process the Data for any other purpose other than their conservation.
  • obtain the cancellation or removal of their Personal Data. When certain conditions are met, the User can request the total cancellation of their Data by the Owner (right to be forgotten).
  • receive your data or have it transferred to another holder. The User has the right to receive their Data in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device and, where technically feasible, to obtain its transfer without obstacles to another holder. This provision is applicable when the Data are processed with automated tools and the treatment is based on the User’s consent, on a contract of which the User is a party or on contractual measures connected to it.
  • propose a complaint. The User can lodge a complaint with the competent personal data protection control authority or take legal action.

 

Details on the right to object

When Personal Data are processed in the public interest, in the exercise of public powers with which the Data Controller is invested or to pursue a legitimate interest of the Data Controller, Users have the right to oppose the processing for reasons related to their particular situation.

How to exercise your rights

To exercise the rights of the User, Users can direct a request to the contact details of the Owner indicated in this document. Requests are filed free of charge and processed by the Data Controller as soon as possible, in any case within a month.

The User’s Personal Data may be used by the Owner in court or in the preparatory stages for its possible establishment for the defense against abuse in the use of this Website or related Services by the User. The User declares to be aware that the Data Controller may be obliged to disclose the Data by order of the public authorities.

This type of service allows this Application and its partners to communicate, optimize and serve advertisements based on the past use of this Application by the User. This activity is carried out by tracking Usage Data and the use of Cookies, information that is transferred to the partners to whom the activity of remarketing and behavioral targeting is connected. Anonymisation works by shortening the IP address of the Users within the borders of the member states of the European Union or in other countries participating in the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the IP address will be sent to Google’s servers.

What is a cookie

What is a cookie? A cookie is a small file text which is memorized by the computer once a website is visited by the user. The text memorizes the information that can be read by the website when the user goes through it in a second time. Due to the fact that these devices can be particularly invasive in the private sphere of the users, the Italian and European law provide that the users have to be adequately informed on the use of the cookies, to express in this way their valid agreement, since “the archiving of the information in the terminal device of a contractor or a user or the access to the information already archived are only allowed to the condition that the contractor or the user has expressed his agreement after has been informed”.
